In September 2026, "Singin’ in the Rain" returns to the stage at the Théâtre du Lido in a new production directed by Robert Carsen.
Inspired by the legendary film by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly, the musical transports us to 1920s Hollywood, a pivotal era when silent films were gradually giving way to talkies.
Supported by a cast of actors and singers, as well as a full orchestra, the show recaptures all the energy and light-heartedness of the original. Choreography, tap dancing and 240 costumes accompany this journey into Hollywood’s golden age, punctuated by songs that have become timeless classics.
