With its 400 square meters and magnificent high ceilings, the Foyer Manessier is a light-filled space that can accommodate up to 300 people. You can host all kinds of events there.
An exceptional artistic setting
The space is adorned with a massive tapestry by Alfred Manessier titled “Gregorian Chant,” whose aesthetic resembles that of a stained-glass window.
When I designed my poster, I was naturally thinking of classical music, and Gregorian chant in particular; I immediately, in keeping with my subject and the architecture, opted for lines that rose slightly outward, and I created a fairly strong gradient from the dark, interior side toward the outside, toward the light side of the street and the square. I started with an extremely understated, full, and deep range, and on top of that, I placed large, colorful notes that fade toward the light.
