The paths of AI

In this podcast produced by Radio France Studios with Sorbonne TV and the Observatoire de l'AI de l'Université Paris 1, experts analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on our daily lives.

The Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne is a multidisciplinary French institution, renowned for its training in economics, management, arts, humanities, law and political science. Heir to the ancient University of Paris, it is home to some 45,200 students.

The request

The Sorbonne wanted to analyze and shed light on the phenomenon of deepfakes, digital tricks based on artificial intelligence that can mislead or disrupt the understanding of images. With this in mind, it has called on Radio France Studios to work together to promote reliable, verified information, strengthen media literacy by developing critical thinking about digital content, and facilitate access to culture for as many people as possible.

Our response

Radio France Studios has produced "Les Voies de l'IA", a podcast in five episodes where franceinfo, the Observatoire de l'IA de l'Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Sorbonne TV explore the impact of artificial intelligence on our daily lives. Hosted by Pauline Pennanec'h, with Célia Zolynski and Camille Salinesi, each episode welcomes a guest to discuss protecting digital life and detecting manipulation. This production is supported by the Sorb'Rising and UNA Europa projects, funded by the ANR as part of France 2030.

The first episodes of the podcast are available on the Radio France website and app.
