With "Building the Future", Jean-Claude Laroche, founder of Dinumia Conseil, presents a series of video podcasts designed to provide a step back from the transformations shaping our society, our organisations and our lives.
In this first series, entitled “What is innovation?”, he explores the history and evolution of this now ubiquitous concept, in order to examine our relationship with novelty, progress and change. A project written by Jean-Claude Laroche, presented by François Saltiel, directed by Baptiste Massaloux and produced by Radio France Studios.
The brief
Dinumia Conseil wanted to launch a series of podcasts dedicated to innovation, with one aim: to explore what the term actually encompasses and to trace the evolution of its usage, from its origins to the present day. The challenge was to create a format that was both accessible and thought-provoking, capable of making reflections on innovation, its perceptions and its consequences understandable in just a few minutes, whilst giving them a strong presence in both audio and video formats.
Our response
Radio France Studios supported Dinumia Conseil in bringing the project to fruition by providing its production expertise, technical resources and editorial and audiovisual know-how. We produced a series of 10 four-minute episodes, designed to explain in simple terms the history, developments and various uses of the term ‘innovation’. The project also marks the creation of the first video podcast produced at Radio France Studios. Directed by Baptiste Massaloux and brought to life on screen and on air by François Saltiel, the series combines the conventions of podcasting with those of video to offer short, engaging content that is easily shareable on digital platforms.
